The command parameter definitions are:
Pattern Type:
--------------
COUNT=0, Sends a counting pattern (1, 2, 3, …. 65535, 1, 2, …) within a 16-bit
word data on the science data interface. Pattern Parameter MSW and LSW is starting value.
CONSTANT=1,Pattern Parameter MSW contains 16-bit pattern to send
on the science data interface. Pattern Parameter LSW is not used.
RANDOM=2, Sends a random data pattern within a 16-bit word data on the
science data interface. Pattern Parameter MSW and LSW contain the seed for the random
number generation process.
WALK=3, Sends a walking one pattern (1, 2, 4, 8, … 32768, 1, 2, 4, … ) within a
16-bit word on the science data interface. Pattern Parameter MSW and LSW is not used.
TRAN01=4 Sends an all zero data pattern, with a specified bit length, and
then transitions to all ones to fill the rest of the packet payload. Pattern Parameter MSW and LSW
contain the size in bits of the zero data pattern. This is repeated for each packet.
TRAN10=5. Sends an all ones data pattern, with a specified bit length, and
then transitions to all zeros to fill the rest of the packet payload. Pattern Parameter MSW and
LSW contain the size in bits of the ones data pattern. This is repeated for each packet.
Pattern Parameter:
--------------------
The contents of the Pattern Parameter field further define the pattern type.
Duration:
--------------
The time in seconds to output simulated data packets. Use -1 to generate packets until
commanded to stop by the Science Data Cease Transmission command.
Packet Size:
--------------
Specifies the amount of payload data bytes in each science data packet. This does
not include the CCSDS packet header and checksum, and is rounded down for consistency with
alignment requirements. Legal values are 32 to 4000. A zero value generates random packet
payload lengths from 32 to 4000 bytes (rounded down as required for alignment considerations).
Data Rate:
--------------
The packet generation rate in packets per second.
