Running LATTE 4 in the lab

It's now possible to run LATTE 4 under Linux in the dataflow lab.

To run LATTE 4 under Linux:

1. Load the OCS libraries in VxWorks:

   cd /nfs/slac/g/glast/vxw000/GASU/fsw < startup-newocsp.vx (primary side)
   or
   < startup-newocsr.vx

2. Start runcontrol from afs:

/afs/slac.stanford.edu/g/glast/online/teststands/lat-elf1/runcontrol

As of July 30, you can use lat-hobbit1 to start runcontrol. James and Amedeo are planning to install lat-hobbit2 and 3 soon. Those boxes will also run Linux RHEL3 and will be available to run LATTE.

Please try to use LATTE 4. If you have problems, contact Amedeo.
