• Event parser almost complete. Working on the AEM event data parsing.

• The 17 new TEMs have some problems.  The job to fix them has been subcontracted out.

• TEM reset considerations and troubleshooting::
  • Two instances where TEM goes through a hard reset. Once during the power up and also during  the execution of the initialization script causing a cascading reset to all subsystems.
  • LCB board will not have this problem.
  • Avoid booting when problems occur, try to do a dataless reset command (CMD_RESET) working your way from the bottom of the hierarchy up until the problem clears up and then try to pinpoint the problem.
  • Each subsystem has a status register that they can check to get feedback on prior commands. Regression scripts should check the value of this status register after write commands for command and payload parity errors.
  • The DATA_MASKS register on TEM should not be repeatedly set since that puts the TEM in an undefined state. Perform your initial configuration separately than your regular routines. Program the subsystem, work at the cable controller level and down.

• CAL (Byron)
• Byron is making use of the exception facility in the python interface for non-zero return status
• He is experiencing bad handle and parity errors running the regression script that is converted to python. He will send a copy of the script to SLAC to be tested here.
• ACD (Connie, Sharon, Jim)
• Expecting new ASICS soon.
• Need to determine if the ASICS are compatible with the bud box. If they are the TESW can be used against them.
• Will deliver the TESW tomorrow or Friday to Connie by e-mail.
