- New engineer at SLAC (Oren
Milgrome, MILGROME@SLAC.STANFORD.EDU) has obtained a new version GAFE
tester and is using it with the Online system to build test scripts

out where GAFE testers for Online and FSW are
- Still expecting test jigs
to come out of fabrication this week.
- Discussion on high rate
event data taking:
- Flight hardware will not
have any power-on reset capability
- Registers will have
undefined contents after power-up
- Some registers may be
written only once during the life of a TEM power cycle. Writing them a second time will put
the TEM in an undefined state.
- Sharon asked whether
each and every register should be specified in SchemaConfig files.

- Getting lots of “bad interrupt” messages on the SBC. Think it’s due to a power supply
glitch.

- Performed threshold scans
- Did long term tests with good results
- Performed noisy strip map and got some results that Luca would
like to investigate further
- Performed tests with a radioactive source and got good results
- Ready to start converting to Run Control framework
- IFCT (Larry)
- Working with Luca to get charge injection scripts working
- Will add graphs
- Will add test reports
- Toward the end of January, the EM Test setup will move to the LAT
assembly building (Bldg 33)
- Will prototype functional tests and write up work instructions
- Then will move on to CAL
- Will integrate test reports
- ACD scheduled for later
