- ACD the way SLAC sees it. SLAC has a bud box which has little or
no resemblance to the GARC/GAFE tester.
- SLAC will deprecate the bud box interface.
- SLAC will come up with an electrical & mechanical interface
that nears the ICD.
- First version will allow a FREE card to be plugged in.
- Additional GARC/GAFE test boards needed.
- New teststand compatible with the FREE board ICD that will allow
the use of GARC/GAFE tester boards.
- Real AEM comes as part of the GASU.
§
Two generations
of the ACD teststand, one will be an upgrade of the current pseudo-AEM
according to the ICD, the second will contain the GASU.
- The process of taking data will be through the GLT and not
through the mini-GLT.
- Jim: Thermal-Vac qualified AEM needed. Not clear by when.
- GASU version of the ACD will not be ready by April.
- I&T/IFCT (Larry)
- Working with the EM test stand.
Wants to hang onto the TKR front end for a while.
