The idea is to capture the description for the instrument geometry from engineers and software developers. We will maintain a spreadsheet that matches the nomenclature from both groups so that anyone can understand what the geometry implementation in the Monte Carlo is. This scheme will facilitate updates and cross checks. We will also provide technical drawings with labels that correspond to the needs of the software developers. Drawings will still be accurate ( since we will use the engineering definitions to make them), but will be readable by software developers since they will contain only the necessary information for implementation. Support 3d pictures will also be attached especially for the NAD ("Not Any detector") description. We work closely with SAS and Joanne has already provided with the definitions of the XML file.
