Calibration:
CAL light asymmetry
ID: C14 in LAT-MD-00446-04
Description: One measures the signal asymmetry (ADCpos- ADCneg) / (ADCpos+ ADCneg) for 12 positions along each crystal.
Software required: SAS
Algorithm: These positions are selected by applying criteria to the signals from other layers, oriented in the direction perpendicular to the tested crystal. It is also possible to use tracker information for such calibration. To be expanded by CAL.

Notes: The calibration of longitudinal position measurement from light asymmetry could be done for EM using cosmic ray muons and thus is available only for range LEX8. For other ranges such calibration of EM requires beam test with corresponding beam energy.
