S. Digel, January 23, 2005
Below is the status of the science tools development at the end of January relative to the DC2 development schedule planned in September, 2004. We are about halfway between September and the start of DC2.
The line items below are taken from the development schedule. In some cases, especially the items with question marks, the listing in the schedule represented wishful thinking on my part rather than indicating that someone had actually committed to work on them.
A few additional items have come up that should be added to the schedule, like finishing up resolving the JIRA issues from the science tools checkout at the end of build 3.
Non-science tools schedule items, like work on background rejection and event classification leading to study of the response functions, definition of the event classes, and the implementation of parameterized response functions in CALDB, are not included but obviously important for DC2 science tools.
