Organizing the sceince tools checkout in build 7

Goals of checkout 2: Same as before - seeking comments on usability and correctness of tools. Correctness includes correctness of operation and whether the tools have the needed functionality.
Who: A limited number of reviewers, ideally the same as in checkout 1 (see table at bottom of this page, but I have not yet contacted anyone. One or two additional reviewers have volunteered, so we have some margin.
How: As before, but this time with a Windows distribution too [right?]. This is not meant to be a test of Windows support, per se however.
When: Nominally the first 3 weeks of cycel 7. However, I think cycle 7 stars on Monday, March 7, the day before the collaboration meeting starts. That week will be filled with meetings of assorted kinds associated with the collaboration meeting. I'd vote for having the checkout start on March 14 and run for 3 weeks, i.e., end on April 1.
The tools will have greater functionality than in checkout 1. Also, some new sources for obsSim have been defined and some existing sources have additional functionality.
One open question is whether we will distribute a canned data set, i.e., a pre-generated set of events and a corresponding pointing/livetime history file. The DC2 steering committee is steering toward having a ~v0 sky model by Feb. 25. If we wanted to distribute precomputed data for the science tools checkout, questions that come to mind include
