Proposed changes in the near term (Checkout 3)

Stop distributing entity_test, sample, sane, st_app_main, read_map, map_stats, makeFT1, makeFT2, and makeFT2a.

Decide whether to do the same for rootplots.

Finish converting to gt-prefixed names.  (This may be done already for pulsePhase.)

In the parameter files, add 'DC1A' response functions as an option.

Proposed longer term changes (DC2)

Remove overlapping functionality:

Make count_map and gtcntsmap part of gtbin.  gtbin seems to have all of the functionality of count_map, except for allowing an expresssion for filtering ROOT (as opposed to FITS) event files.

Combine exposure_cube and gtlivetimecube [Jim points out that gtlivetimecube could live in the map_tools package because it does not depend on the Likelihood classes.]

It would be nice if exposure_map could be combined with gtexpmap; the latter pre-computes some quantities for the likelihood analysis and needs to have an event file specified.
