GLAST Calorimeter Software Weekly Reports
Week of 2 February 2004
NRL
Sasha: Last week I
was trying to migrate AnalysisNtuple from GlastRelease v3r3p7 to old Gleam v4r1
in order to compare the CAL resolution in both versions of
simulation/reconstruction using the identical set of event selection cuts. There
were multiple difficulties due to the change of interfaces to G4Propagator and
TKR data. I've solved most of problems, but the code still give some error
messages during compilation - hope to get it working this week.
Andrey: Continuation of last week.
Mark: Admin tasks. Reviewed muon peak model function results from EM data analsysis.

Bordeaux
Benoit, Johan: This week, most activity was devoted to the analysis of DC1 data. Many checks on the energy calibration of the minical detectors were performed, but the reason for the discrepancy mentioned in the previous weekly reports has not been found yet.
Thierry: No report
Montpellier
Frederic: still some work remaining on MC vs. data comparison concerning proton peaks fitting. Intercalibration and non-linearities studies will be rather addressed next week.
Agnieszka & Eric: we have continued the studies of the stability in time of the FRS response during the ion test at Darmstadt. As a main result, we observe stable beam conditions on a night scale and sizable variations between nights. We are also preparing the ion Z identification in FRS for the common FRS/EM calibration.
SLAC
Xin:
I have not done anything directly linked to CAL. I spent
most of last week trying to run EM package on slac's batch farm, which is
recently upgraded to RH9. I also did some studies on diagnostic info stored in
the data.
