Present: Heather, Ian, Joanne, Karl, Leon, Richard, Sacha, Thomas, Toby, Tracy
The main event was a discussion of data flow, involving presentations from each subsystem:
Most burning issue is perhaps how to get the geometry information to the various pieces needing it. All subsystems will have to do some work in this area for PDR processing. ACD also will need something new for balloon data.
Ian is proposing a reorganization of TBIOROOT and its relationship to subsystem reconstruction packages. Hearing no objections, he will embark on it forthwith.
Core status: (Toby) See the Core status page with an updated diagram and comments/updates on even more issues than usual.
Report from Karl:
Working on the Solaris port. HTL cannot yet be coaxed to compile with gcc on Solaris, in spite of communications with its maintainer.
Karl and Karen Heidenreich are working on a script(s?) for doing balloon data processing.
Generic XML geometry status: (Joanne, Riccardo) See this week's geoStatus page. The big news is the commission to CVS of a large pile of detModel software by Riccardo and Dario. See the top of the acd as described in flight.xml and rendered by the new software.
