Present: Heather, Ian, Joanne, Leon, Richard, Thomas, Toby
Tracker digis: Leon presented a proposal for tracker digi organization. (He has since come out with a new version incorporating Toby's recommendations.)
ACD digis: Heather has made an AcdDigiAlg class in the GlastDigi package and a test program for it.
Still more digis: Meanwhile Eric recently distributed a new Cal digi proposal. Toby suggested that robustness would be improved if private data members were initialized via a constructor with arguments rather than via set methods.
Philosophical issues were touched upon: what are digis for? how much commonality should there be between cal digis and tracker digis?
Core summary : See Toby's core status page, for a complete report. Progress includes work Thomas has done to get the Motif version of GUI working on Linux (except for a problem affecting the detector display only), the ROOT n-tuple converter (Ian), and balloon support progress.
Generic XML geometry status: See a terse note on this week's status and especially see the report on the design work in progress by Riccardo and Dario.
