Present: Heather, Ian, Joanne, Karl, Thomas
We had a cosy little meeting this week, complete with donuts, thanks to Heather!
Generic XML geometry status: (Joanne, Riccardo) Riccardo is at CERN this week, working with WIRED. Joanne continued to fiddle with the XML format and transforming it. See this note for details.
TrkRecon: (Ian, Jose) This package is ready. See the Doxygen documentation for details.
BalloonSim/G4: (Ian, Thomas) Compiles everywhere successfully. There is still a problem with linking, but Toby will probably be able to track it down as soon as he can free himself from Lehman review duties.
Rootwriter for balloon: (Heather) There is work to be done, but Heather sees no impediment to getting it done on time (early March).
PDR cpu estimate: (Karl) Gathering together information from Toby about his last experience with event generation and from SCS about what hardware they believe was in place at the time (440 mhz SPARC Solaris), Karl estimates we need about 1000-2000 hours of time on similar hardware -- except that the simulation doesn't at the moment run on Solaris, so we would probably ask for the equivalent on Linux boxes. This is a drop in the bucket for SCS.
