ScienceTools: No one was present to give the report, but you can read it for yourself.
(Richard) SCons user builds of the Mac are now working, including the python interface. (John) FSSC distributes the same version of python but only some of the python tools.
Pass 6 reprocessing: (Tom) 5247 runs (the number of good runs created since Aug. 4) need to be reprocessed. The job is close to ready to go. The list of things to do keeps increasing:
(Richard) Anders and Warren are both on vacation this week. We have only a few weeks before the data goes public.
Documentation: (Chuck) sends the following:
All's well in WB World. I'm now making good progress on the pyLikelihood tutorial, and I have to confess that it's been quite a learning experience; especially when it comes to environment variables and the Science Tools.
There have been relatively few updates to the workbook this past week, though I am compiling a list of changes needed, particularly for the Science Tools. I also have Masa's changes to virtually all of the pulsar tools, and will incorporate them as soon as the unbinned pylikelihood project is completed.
Core Week (Heather) made a draft topic list. All are invited to add to it or modify.
RM on Windows (Navid, Richard) In hopes of understanding what makes RM builds on Windows so slow, Navid will make trial builds with both SCons and CMT with all files of interest stored locally.
Skimmer (Heather) There is a new version: v7r4. (Leon) The bug he reported persists in this version. For aficionados he has supplied the details: "The bug is that when only the merit file is output, the entire set of variables is produced (as expected), but when both the merit and digi files are output, the merit file contains only the variables EvtRun and EvtEventId."
Doxygen (Heather, Navid) Our old version mysteriously disappeared, so Navid took the opportunity to upgrade rather than just re-install. He's tested it on all ScienceTools packages and several representative GR packages. For the time being the SCons RM can only make Doxygen for ScienceTools since it's not yet building GR. However one high-priority item is to run Doxygen on the latest AnalysisNtuple since this output is referenced by the Workbook and it's currently somewhat out of date. Navid can get the old RM to use the new Doxygen if the configuration in GlastPolicy is upgraded, which is not hard to do. Heather is in favor! (Toby) Does GoGui have a "generate Doxygen" button like MRvcmt? (Joanne) Not currently but it's a feature I intend to add. I don't yet know how much work it will be. (Navid) has added features to our SCons which should make it easy.
u32 (Leon) Obsolete files have been removed. Current versions (about 14 Gbytes) will be removed as soon as they're safely stored by xrootd.
