Present: Heather, Ian, Joanne, Karl, Leon, Richard, Toby, Traudl
Current Release Build Status: (Toby) It's all in order except possibly for some mods to requirements files for Gaudi itself. It doesn't seem like this should be necessary.
(Karl) The problem is not with the (Gaudi) library itself, but with locating it.
(Richard) Since this whole process has been so painful, Karl and Ian are urged to document what we've learned.
Backgrounds: (Toby) All ready to go except for electron albedo, awaiting clarification of what's needed.
PDR Goals: (Richard) By next Tuesday make a run of roughly10,000 events on Linux and verify that we can still write IRF, then have Reconstruction read it successfully. (It should work!) Why do we even still care about IRF? Because ROOTWriter can't handle flight geometry. We also will be looking at file sizes. We have a new 800 gigabytes, but this is for Balloon as well as PDR work.
Software PDR Matters: (Richard) First drafts of all written contributions as described in the TOC are mostly in. Most serious gaps at this point are Calibration (Joanne: more time-critical design document is close to done; Level 4 requirements document needs lots of work) and mods to be made to Simulation and Reconstruction document. We also need to revisit Level 4 requirements documents, which may need repackaging consistent with the new WBS structure.
The Software PDR dry run has been moved to Monday, July 30, to avoid conflicts with CAL and ACD PDRs. The material will not be presented (yet) in the form of a standard slide presentation. That will take place at a somewhat wetter dry run a week before the official presentation. The other date to keep in mind is Aug. 3, when the report must be ready to to send to the reviewers.
Who's doing what: We yet again forgot to ask this week.
