Present: Heather, Ian, Joanne, Karl, Toby
Core Report: (Toby) See Toby's writeup. Main topic is the near readiness for the PDR run. Newly-tagged v6r2 is just about what we need. All that's left is to update the source library and re-tag. In the meantime Karl will make sure there are no glitches with building and running v6r2 on Linux.
Sources and Fluxes: (Toby) Take a look here to see some work done by Toby's students.
Balloon: (Heather) bfemApp is newly released. Next step is to reconstruct the balloon data. When that is done, Core involvement in balloon analysis should be over except for a certain amount of hand-holding.
While we're on the subject of hand-holding, Heather relays from Richard the thought that we'll need to provide more ROOT support. Some names have been suggested...
Linux Support: (Toby, Karl) The group .cshrc is out of whack. Karl intends to fix it as soon as other, higher-priority matters are in hand. In the short term he will get rid of the line(s) producing error messages.
detModel, xmlUtil: (Toby, Joanne) It is just about time to integrate detModel and xmlUtil into the mainstream. Some problems with compiling on Windows were recently ironed out. Toby would like to see a test program which reads in a very simple geometry and does propagation.
Joanne will compare the current production detector model with that in xmlUtil/xml/flight.xml. Most likely some structural components are missing from the latter which will have to be added before we can use it for real work.
Who's doing what: We again forgot to ask this week. Are we serious about this??
