Gleam notes, To do list (as of v2r2p1)

New & recently new features

AcdRecon, display added
job options structured to easily adjust basic "program", enable display if desired.
new "src/default.txt" options file to simply run 10K 100-MeV normal photons into merit.
meritAlg will compute Aeff and PSF for all fit tracks. (no cuts yet). Sample output in merit's mainpage.h
Collected display buttons for TkrRecon, AcdRecon and G4Generator
Special main, env var (TESTJOBOPTIONS) for test program, using the package_test CMT pattern
test job (test_Gleam) runs 1K normal 100-MeV gammas, reports CPU usage.

TODO for next release

Document all relevant joboptions parameters.
Fix up and document userAlg for Gleam [which is not part of Gleam of course]
how to get eof from reading root? [just keeps trucking until event number limit] [done]
find different way to limit the size of the mcRoot file.
find source of test_Gleam failure on Linux

TODO (longer term)

Basic infrastructure

automated check for memory leaks
move rootcint fragment to GlastPolicy; automate rootcint for MSDEV.
capture log output to one or more files

Simulation

Integrating, position hits: trim reference to initial particle(s)
Better limit of number of McParticles on the TDS
Noise, TOT in tracker [Bari]
Implement relational tables for correlating hits/digis with MC truth [Marco, ]
control over random number generator.

Implement Recon read-back. [Heather]

Generate summary ntuple, or construct same from the ROOT file.
