Present: Alex, Heather, Joanne, Karl, Leon, Marco, Pat, Sasha, Sean, Toby, Tracy, Traudl
Core Report: (Toby) See details in his report.
gcc - we'll stick with 2.91 for now. Updated Linux machines such as higher numbered norics at RedHat 7.1 have a different default compiler, but Alex has done some work to make it possible to specify 2.91 for our compiles.
CMT v1r10 - Terminal Server has been updated to this version.
(Heather) Work to convert to Gaudi v9r0 is done! We can move to it when convenient, probably after G4 transition.
Development environment - current scheme of multiple checkout packages has problems. There is a proposal to move to an approach which identifies degree of stability of a package. Not yet clear how this works for our collection of (largely private) development environments.
The rtag problem - A package's ChangeLog would be much easier to decipher if there were an entry for each rtag (but not one for each file tagged!), just to mark where in time it came, if nothing else. It should be possible to automate this, though we haven't yet been successful. Additionally a thoughtful high-level description (therefore not automatable) of the changes for the release ought to go somewhere, maybe release.notes.
Core Week: Quite a bit got done, decided, or at least considered.
See the end of Toby's core status report for a complete discussion of the planned transition to G4.
See Heather's minutes for the marathon scheduling meeting held on Thursday.
Tracker code documentation review took place as planned. acdRecon will probably be next.
CAL Status: (Sasha) Details on CalDigi can be found in this report. Sasha notes that the current implementation of integrating hits is not correct since moments are calculated w.r.t. the global coordinate system rather than an appropriate local one. He and Claudia will work this out. Integrating hits will be used for the diodes as well as the CsI crystals (and also for ACD tiles).
